      Actor Bio
Being a fan of over the top comedy and allured by explosive drama, I have done my share of contrary rolls. I have had the sweet, side busting pleasure of appearing on The Chris Rock show. My role as terminally ill assault victim Vanessa on Law & Order was so great to be a part of. Even though I was a newbie I was treated really well on both projects. I love the freedom an artist has to have, the non apologetic elbow room to be provocative, wild and expressive. It's a complete contrast to the sometimes masochistic parade of love, hate, expression, colors, fabrics, lights, sexuality, and bravado on runways and in fashionand still I love both.

The love of humor lead me to an 'appearance' in a film called "Epic Movie" as a high school aged 'Storm' at Mutant High, (Epic Movie grossed 20 million on the opening weekend in January, 2007), directed by Aaron Feltzer and Jason Friedberg also the directors of Scary Movie and Date Movie. It was super fun and I am no stranger to having a sense of humor about myself.
I am eagerly awaiting post production news from my first feature length Indie lead, entitled "The Wrong Hands". I was so grateful and excited to work on an original story line.

      The Wrong Hands SYNOPSIS:
When the Berlin Wall crashes down in 1989, Berkeley California erupts. Natasha, an African American community activist a cross between Obama and Hillary - is the leftist leader of the United Front. Caught between a radical past and a hopeful, anti-global future, Nat must struggle against her ruthless, fear-spreading ex-lover Tony, founder of the Neo Conservatives in town, while fighting off the wrong-headed romantic advances of John, the new uninformed Utopian kid in town who's fallen in love with her. In the three-way fight between Hope, Fear, and Dream, things just get worse... A love-story about the start of today's Neo-Conservative and Anti-Global movements.

A believer in hands on learning I dabbled behind the scenes on some short film projects I also acted in; Beyond the Ladies Room Door which went to the Long Island Film Festival, and Phone Jacked which also made the short film festival rounds. My experience in producing included volunteering a month of my life free-of-charge for a production I believed in and was very excited about: only in exchange requesting a production credit and respect. I would liken the journey on that project to getting plopped in the middle of the ocean with a blow up floaty dipped in chum and nearby associates too busy with brotherhood to have the courage to do the right thing. I passionately believe in innovative thinkers and people willing to speak for the underdog, tell new tales, it's only a downfall when you air on the side of trust rather than contractual agreements but in my soul now is an unyielding priority to work on my own aspirations tirelessly and seek no mans approval over my own. I worked along side award winning documentarian/director James Spooner of Afro Punk, on his second film "White Lies". The real lie wasn't motivated by color, but by sexism and old embedded cultural and personal issues and outdated structures of 'scratch my back then I will scratch my own back and the back of all of the men, and we may throw you a bone if we feel like it'. Yet another rigorous character test that falls on one who dares to sink roots into NYC. I passed, they failed.
